My 1st Day

img_0672.JPG

Today was a really big day. Not only was it my first whole day, but I got meet my brother and sister today too.

img_0651.JPG img_0644.JPG

Alice and Liam seemed so excited to meet me, especially Alice. She wanted dress up fancy, so she made sure to wear lots of fancy jewelry. She also wanted to make sure that Liam looked handsome, so she helped Gram comb his hair.

Even though Gram and Aunt Stacey were in the room when I was born we didn’t have any pictures of them holding me. So we took some today.

img_0666.JPG

Aunt Stacey brought the socks that her friend made for me. They fit just right, mommy was worried that my feet would be too big, like Liam’s.

img_0663.JPG

Tomorrow I get to go home. Gram has been working hard to make sure home is really clean and ready for me, Thank you Gram.

Amelia Arrives

img_0624.jpg

My little sister Amelia arrived yesterday. I haven’t seen her yet, but Daddy showed me some pictures before bedtime last night. I was so excited I couldn’t stop giggling. Mommy called me from the hospital to talk last night too. I had lots of questions for Mommy about Amelia, but mostly I wanted Mommy to know that even though we have a new baby in the house I still love Mommy too.

Liam and I are going to visit Mommy and Amelia at the hospital this morning. Hopefully I can give her lots of kisses and hugs. Daddy will take some pictures and put them here too.

Big News!

We’re having another baby! Mommy found out the first part of June that we’re going to have a new baby February 5th! We’re so excited. I “know” that it’s going to be a girl. Liam doesn’t know anything about it.

Dancing in the Stars

I sure love that show Dancing in the Stars. I love to wear my dancing skirt and dance along with all the pretty ladies.

Easter (also known as runny babbit present day)

Today was Easter Sunday so Liam and I got all dressed up for church. I wore the Easter dress that Gram bought me, my favorite bolero (or “bello” as I like to call it) sweater and new pink sparkle barrettes.
img_5803.JPG

At church I got to be part of the service with a bunch of other kids and carry flowers up to the front of the church. I heard my Daddy was part of the service too, but I’m not sure he got to do something as cool as carry flowers!
img_5823.JPG

After church we went home. Can you believe it? While we were gone the Easter runny babbit left me an awesome Easter bucket.

img_5836.JPG img_5839.JPG

I got some all-pink jelly beans, a new Bible, new barrettes, a Sesame Street book, and some Elmo and Zoe pencils. Oh, and some neat lamby ears. It was awesome!

When Liam got up from his nap he got his Easter bucket too. Doesn’t he look cute in his lamby ears?

img_5852.JPG

After my nap we went to Gram and Papa’s house for dinner (with mashed potatoes and graby, my favorite)! After dinner we had an egg hunt. I found lots of eggs in Gram’s living room. We couldn’t do it outside, because it snowed.
img_2925.JPG img_2924.JPG

img_5867.JPG

Too bad for Liam that he’s too little to look for Easter eggs, so he had fun with Aunt Jackee.
img_2949.JPG

The Easter eggs were full of money that PaPa helped me put in the new monkey bank that he and Gram gave me.

img_5879.JPG img_5882.JPG

Man, it was so heavy with all that money in it!
img_2955.JPG

It was a great day.

March Update

Coming from a knitting family, it was only a matter of time before I started knitting. I’m not actually sure how to knit, but my Gram gave me some needles and a little bag that says “My Tote” on it and Aunt Stacey gave me two different pink yarns. When Stacey was babysitting me and Liam the other night I did a little knitting before bedtime. I’ll be knitting aran and intarsia before you know it.

img_4927.jpgimg_4928.jpg

Playing dress up is one of my favorite things to do. Since Gram and Papa have been out of town Aunt Stacey has been watching me and Liam one day a week. When Mommy and Daddy came home for lunch, this is the outfit that I’d picked out to wear. They said something about channeling Elton John. I definitely had to pose and do the cute face. I am pretty cute.
img_5721.JPGimg_5723.JPG

I broke out my camera since Mommy was taking pictures of me. I always have to open the back of the camera, since that is the way Mommy and Daddy’s camera works with the little screen on it.

img_5720.JPGimg_5724.JPG

Liam is getting really good at eating. He likes to hold a spoon of his own while he is fed. What a cute brother I have!
img_5728.JPG

Washing the cars is something that we have not been able to do in a long time, but it has finally gotten to be nice outside! Daddy and I spent some time washing our white car. I had fun with the bubbles and the hose.
img_5734.JPGimg_5736.JPG

I love my Daddy!

img_5737.JPG

I’ve gotten the itch to do some spring cleaning. We went by Gram and Papa’s house while Stacey was house/dog sitting with Oreo. I decided to clean my little house in their back yard. It has gotten pretty dirty in all the snow this winter.
img_5001_2.jpgimg_5002_2.jpg

Oops, I’m stuck! How, you might ask, did I get into this precarious situation? Well, I asked Mommy to open up the door and since the bucket of toys that is usually in there was out, I crawled in. Although I look a little sad in the picture, I was having a lot of fun telling Mommy, “look at me, look at me.”
img_5739.JPG

It has been 2 years and 7 months coming, but I finally needed to get a haircut. I didn’t have very much cut off, just something called split ends. I also got some bangs cut. Mommy said I did a great job sitting still. It was so fun to sit in the pink jeep and read a book while I got my hair cut.
img_5758.JPGimg_5763.JPG

Look at me, I got a special bow in my hair and some glitter-spray. I was excited to look so cute!

img_5767.JPG

Liam wondered, what that lady was doing to my hair?

img_5762.JPG

Pink motorcycles are the best. I got to ride on it after my haircut. I also got a lolly pop!

img_5769.JPGimg_5775.JPG

My plants are growing! It is so exciting to see the little seeds that we planted turning into real plants.
img_5781.JPG

When Stacey came over to watch us this week, she brought her hospital bear and a bunch of gauze, tape and band aids. We played wrapped up all the bears and dolls. The little scrubs shirt that the bear was wearing was just my size so I got to dress up in that too! We had so much fun - head injuries all around!
img_5110.jpgimg_5117.jpgimg_5104.jpg

Finally a picture of Liam’s blanket with the shirt Nachele gave him!

img_5796.JPGimg_5785.JPG

I had to get in on the picture taking action!

February Update

Daddy and I finally got out in the snow and make a snow man. I got Connie all ready in her coat too.

img_5646.JPG

I got a carrot for it’s nose, but it was a little big for the tiny snowman on our patio.  (You’ll see it in the bottom right corner of the picture of my Daddy and me below.  I’m actually pointing to it.)
img_5650.JPGimg_5652.JPG

Then we made a bigger one out by the sidewalk.

img_5654.JPG

The other day I was thinking that I needed to take better care of my skin, so I got out the Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream and went to town!

img_5658.JPGimg_5660.JPG

Uncle Buddy is so silly. We met him and Aunt Jackee for dinner at a resturant. He’s so funny!

img_4780.jpg

Mommy fixed my hair really pretty today with a pretty clip. I like to make this face when Mommy asks me to smile for the camera.

img_5661.JPGimg_5662.JPG

Daddy and I spent some time planting seeds. We planted some herbs, tomato plants and columbine flowers. Daddy had to help with the really small seeds, but I got to plant them in the dirt and cover them up. We had so much fun.

img_5665.JPGimg_5668.JPGimg_5670.JPG

One of my favorite things to eat is hummus. We love to go to a restaurant not too far from our house and they have really good hummus.

img_5672.JPG

At Stacey’s house Liam and I like to play with the fun stuff she has. We found a silly hat for Liam (and Alice - 2 years earlier).

Now that Liam is a little older, I have found that he’s pretty fun to play with. I like to wrestle him, but Mommy sometimes says I need to be not so rough. Liam seems like he can take it though!

img_5675.JPG

The Oscars were such a dressy affair and so Mommy, Aunt Stacey and her room mate all dressed up with me in fancy dresses to watch the ceremony. We had a fun time!

img_5704_2.JPGimg_5706.JPG

img_5712.JPG

Taking pictures is a new hobby of mine. On the night of the Oscars I took these pictures and I think I’m pretty good.

January Update

This week when I got to spend the night with Gram and Papa I helped Gram make waffles for breakfast. She let me wear a little apron with a princess on it. I beat the eggs, stirred the batter, waited for the waffles to cook in the waffle maker and finally got to eat them. It was quite a process, but totally worth it!

dscf0208_2.jpgdscf0218_2.jpgdscf0224_2.jpgdscf0226_2.jpg

Uncle Buddy came by after I had waffles and he held me way up high. I’m SOOOOO big!

dscf0236_2.jpg

Cleaning is something that I love to spend time doing. Every time Mommy gets the wipes out to change Liam’s diaper, I want a wipe too, to clean stuff. Gram was squirting the mirrors at our house today, so I thought I’d help her out a little. Mommy said she was going to hire me full-time!

dscf0240_2.jpgdscf0241_2.jpg

Now that my hair is longer, I’ve found that I can twirl it in my fingers. Grandma Sue said that when Gram was a little girl she used to do do that all the time.

dscf0244_2.jpg

Our family took a trip to Arizona for the Doulos Board meeting. I was going to stay home with Aunt Stacey, but Mommy and Daddy decided they’d miss me too much, so I came with them. Liam is getting to be such a big boy. One of his favorite things to do is roll around. Isn’t he so cute.

img_5621.JPGimg_5623.JPGimg_5625.JPG

One night we had dinner at the Board Chairman’s house and there were other little girls there! We had our own, special, girls only table. It was fun to sit in the tiny little chairs with new friends.

dscf0265.jpg

Since they were there, we spent some time in the mornings playing with Gram and Papa while Mommy and Daddy slept. They really missed out on some fun times - oh well, their loss.

dscf0272.jpgdscf0282.jpg

Overall the trip was really fun, but at one point I fell out of my chair and got a big bonk on my face. I decided later that I didn’t want to wear clothes while I ate lunch. I was cooperating enough to do the cute face for the camera.

dscf0286.jpg

Mommy decided that it would be a good idea to get to the airport early so we could eat lunch before our flight. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed for hours and hours and hours. The only redeeming part about it was that there was this cool kids play area out in front of one of the gates for me to play with.

dscf0291.jpg

Liam took a nap on some coats piled up against the wall, but not me! I’m way too cool to take a nap in public!

dscf0290.jpg

When we got back to Denver I went with Gram and Papa to the baggage claim area. I got a little ride on Gram’s rolling suitcase. It was a fun trip, but it’s good to get back home.
dscf0295.jpg

While we were in Arizona it was Uncle Buddy’s birthday. So we celebrated when we got back. We had dinner with the whole family at Red Lobster. Liam and I were having fun with Aunt Stacey.

img_5632.JPG

Mommy and I made the coolest thing together… A Robot Costume! I don’t know about you, but I think it is the best thing ever. Look at the detail and the decorations. What a great mommy to think of it.

img_5635_2.JPGimg_5638_2.JPG

I can’t believe it! I think the snow will never melt! The one good thing about the snow is that Daddy and I can go outside and “ice skate.” Ok, so I don’t have any skates or a pond, but I like sliding on the ice and snow-packed streets and pretending. You may notice htat I have no coat on in this picture, but that’s because I have a hat and scarf and I think I know if I need a coat or not. I mean I am 2 1/2 you know!

Christmas 2006

Christmas Time is officially my favorite time of year. I’m not sure if you know about it, but you start the day with presents from Santa under the tree. Look at the cool fairy wings and laundry set I got from him this year!

img_5583.JPGimg_5581.JPG

Next you get to have a big breakfast with family. Gram, Grandma Sue, Aunt Jackee, Mommy and Aunt Stacey worked hard all morning on it.

christmas-2006-061.jpg

Then, you get to open presents for hours. Look at some of the great stuff I got. I was really excited about my little castle! I also got some more wings and granted many wishes!
christmas-2006-067.jpgchristmas-2006-068.jpgchristmas-2006-106.jpg

Even Liam was excited, and he was just playing with Aunt Stacey’s bracelets!

christmas-2006-073.jpg

I got to be such an expert at opening presents, I had to show Aunt Jackee and Uncle Chad how it was done!

christmas-2006-098.jpg

Even Oreo got a Christmas present.

christmas-2006-132.jpg

Daddy made another beautiful sweater this Christmas. This time it was for Nanny!

christmas-2006-086.jpg

We had a great morning, all the girls got to take a picture in their matching Christmas pajamas.

img_5597.JPG

What a fun morning with family!

Christmas Preparations

I think I like this Christmas thing. In preparation for Christmas, I got into the spirit by wearing a Santa hat and Mommy’s red shoes.

img_5540.JPG

I also got to make cookies with Daddy.

img_5530.JPGimg_5533.JPG

Once Christmas Eve finally got here, I got a very special visit. Santa, himself, stopped at my house early to give me a special Christmas gift. He told me that he only makes special stops for the most special boys and girls. That made me feel really happy.

christmas-2006-014.jpgimg_5568.JPGimg_5562.JPG

The best part of Christmas was having so much of my family together. Nanny, Grandpa Tom, Uncle Ryan and Andrea came out from Missouri to celebrate with us. We all went out for Christmas Eve dinner together with the Beaches and Grandma Sue and Grandpa.

christmas-2006-047.jpgchristmas-2006-049.jpgchristmas-2006-051.jpgchristmas-2006-053.jpg

Having all the family together for a meal is fun, but I am a little young for a nice restaurant, especially when I don’t take a nap during the day!

img_5570.JPG

Liam looked really dapper in his little hat. It is just like the one Daddy got from his Grandpa Bandy.

christmas-2006-032.jpg

The best part of the party was getting all dressed up in my new dress that Papa picked out for me. I love Christmas!
