(A note from Mommy: We decided we need more room now that there are going to be 5 in our family, so we are getting our house ready to put on the market. Bye bye 2 bedrooms, hello more space.)

(A note from Mommy: OK I feel like I’ve been such a slacker since there were no posts between April and when Amelia was born! I hope to keep things a little more updated now.)

Post by Liam:

1. Alice spent the night at Gram and Poppy’s and wore chopsticks in her hair.

2. Gram, Stacey, Grandma Sue and Mommy taught knitting at MOPS.

3. I took a bath and was so cute.

4. Nanny and Grandpa Tom sent a gift basket and Alice helped open it.

5. I fell asleep in the car and we went to “sweet matoes.”

6. Alice got a towel on her head like Mommy.

7. We went to the zoo with friends.

8. I like playing with toys in the bucket.

9. I can also scoot really fast with Alice!

10. Gram showed Alice a bracelet with animals on it.

11. I learned how to crawl up the stairs.

12. We fed some ducks on a walk with Mommy and Gram.

13. Alice was really diggin’ the end of a jar of Nutella.

14. We planted new flowers outside our house. Alice wanted to plant a peanut butter and jelly tree.

15. Mommy and Daddy went to Alice’s school for parent’s day.

15 1/2. Alice and Daddy danced with the stars!

16. We celebrated Mother’s day in the park.

17. Alice had field day at school

18. Alice played outside in the sand and found some candy in the pantry at Gram’s house.

19. We drove a long, long way in the car and got to eat junk food. Mommy said she never would have let Alice do that when she wasn’t even 1 yet.

20. We got to see Alyssa and Alex in Kansas City and had fun playing with them.

21. Aunt Stacey came with us too and we got to hang out with her and play.

22. We went to MO and got to see Nanny and Grandpa Tom.

23. We went back to Kansas City and played some more with Alyssa and Alex.

24. We went to the children’s museum.

25. We went to the homestead farm.

26. Alice and Alyssa went swimming in a freezing cold little pool.

27. I joined in the fun.

Then we went home in the car a long, long way again. We had fun and that brings us to the end of May.

Before Amelia was born Mommy found some matching Jammies for all of us to wear. We all wore ours the other night and Liam and I got to hold Amelia together. These jammies are so soft, warm and toasty they are really good for snuggling in.

A few weeks ago Liam I started taking a swim class at rec center. We are going to Disney World this summer and Mommy and Daddy want me know how to swim before we go.

There are three other kids in my class we have lots of fun playing in the water.

My swimming teacher is showing me how to float on my back and on my tummy, and how to kick in the water

Because Liam is still little he has to be in a swim class with Daddy. They get to play with toys in the water like noodles, and sometimes Liam gets to sit on a big red cow shaped raft. That looked like so much fun that I wanted to do it last week.

We only have two weeks left of class, but I sure hope we get to come back to the pool soon.

Today was a really big day. Not only was it my first whole day, but I got meet my brother and sister today too.

Alice and Liam seemed so excited to meet me, especially Alice. She wanted dress up fancy, so she made sure to wear lots of fancy jewelry. She also wanted to make sure that Liam looked handsome, so she helped Gram comb his hair.

Even though Gram and Aunt Stacey were in the room when I was born we didn’t have any pictures of them holding me. So we took some today.

Aunt Stacey brought the socks that her friend made for me. They fit just right, mommy was worried that my feet would be too big, like Liam’s.

Tomorrow I get to go home. Gram has been working hard to make sure home is really clean and ready for me, Thank you Gram.

Today was Easter Sunday so Liam and I got all dressed up for church. I wore the Easter dress that Gram bought me, my favorite bolero (or “bello” as I like to call it) sweater and new pink sparkle barrettes.

At church I got to be part of the service with a bunch of other kids and carry flowers up to the front of the church. I heard my Daddy was part of the service too, but I’m not sure he got to do something as cool as carry flowers!

After church we went home. Can you believe it? While we were gone the Easter runny babbit left me an awesome Easter bucket.

I got some all-pink jelly beans, a new Bible, new barrettes, a Sesame Street book, and some Elmo and Zoe pencils. Oh, and some neat lamby ears. It was awesome!

When Liam got up from his nap he got his Easter bucket too. Doesn’t he look cute in his lamby ears?

After my nap we went to Gram and Papa’s house for dinner (with mashed potatoes and graby, my favorite)! After dinner we had an egg hunt. I found lots of eggs in Gram’s living room. We couldn’t do it outside, because it snowed.

Too bad for Liam that he’s too little to look for Easter eggs, so he had fun with Aunt Jackee.

The Easter eggs were full of money that PaPa helped me put in the new monkey bank that he and Gram gave me.

Man, it was so heavy with all that money in it!

It was a great day.

Christmas Time is officially my favorite time of year. I’m not sure if you know about it, but you start the day with presents from Santa under the tree. Look at the cool fairy wings and laundry set I got from him this year!

Next you get to have a big breakfast with family. Gram, Grandma Sue, Aunt Jackee, Mommy and Aunt Stacey worked hard all morning on it.

Then, you get to open presents for hours. Look at some of the great stuff I got. I was really excited about my little castle! I also got some more wings and granted many wishes!

Even Liam was excited, and he was just playing with Aunt Stacey’s bracelets!

I got to be such an expert at opening presents, I had to show Aunt Jackee and Uncle Chad how it was done!

Even Oreo got a Christmas present.

Daddy made another beautiful sweater this Christmas. This time it was for Nanny!

We had a great morning, all the girls got to take a picture in their matching Christmas pajamas.

What a fun morning with family!

My family, Mommy, Daddy, Me (Alice), Liam, Connie and Baby (the dolls).

I think I like this Christmas thing. In preparation for Christmas, I got into the spirit by wearing a Santa hat and Mommy’s red shoes.

I also got to make cookies with Daddy.

Once Christmas Eve finally got here, I got a very special visit. Santa, himself, stopped at my house early to give me a special Christmas gift. He told me that he only makes special stops for the most special boys and girls. That made me feel really happy.

The best part of Christmas was having so much of my family together. Nanny, Grandpa Tom, Uncle Ryan and Andrea came out from Missouri to celebrate with us. We all went out for Christmas Eve dinner together with the Beaches and Grandma Sue and Grandpa.

Having all the family together for a meal is fun, but I am a little young for a nice restaurant, especially when I don’t take a nap during the day!

Liam looked really dapper in his little hat. It is just like the one Daddy got from his Grandpa Bandy.

The best part of the party was getting all dressed up in my new dress that Papa picked out for me. I love Christmas!

Today was like most other Sundays. We went to Gram and Papa’s house to watch the Chiefs. Liam and I tried out my new recliner.

Liam took a nap instead of watching the game, but Daddy loved holding him.

I made lunch for Aunt Stacey with my food and I got out my stickers. Good times.

This year I was an Elephant for Halloween! Daddy and Mommy took me to Boo at the Zoo. I love to see the elephants.

Liam didn’t really dress up, but he came too.

We got to see the penguins.

I said “cheese” for the camera in front of the flamingos.

Liam is too little to smile on command, but I told him all about the “mingos.”

I had fun seeing all the kids a the seal exhibit.

The seals were flying right by me in the window. The Zoo is one of my favorite things.
