Today Mommy got home from a trip to Kansas City with Liam and it is her birthday. We stopped by a grocery store and got Mommy a birthday cake. She shared it with me at lunch!

Needless to say, I had a lot of fun with the chocolate icing. I got so messy that I had to clean off in the sink.

That was fun too though!

Liam celebrated Mommy’s birthday too, but he was a little less messy. He made a happy birthday face!

I stayed with Gram and Stacey overnight at Gram’s house.

Stacey read books to me and Gram and I went to a new park by her house.

The favorite thing that I got to do was paint! I wore a little smock that my mommy used to wear when she was a little girl. Stacey helped me paint pictures of my family and I used big brush strokes!

After I finished painting I played a little golf. Then I got a bubble bath and went to bed.

In the morning I got to lay in Gram’s bed and played with my Toy Story toys while I watched Charlie and Lola.

I wrapped Woody up in my blankie and shushed him like Mommy and Daddy do with Liam.

Before breakfast I did a little coloring and then helped Aunt Stacey with some knitting/yarn.

I had a lot of fun with Gram and Aunt Stacey!

Today I went to the office with Mommy. I got tired at one point and took a nap in my vibrating bouncy chair.

Mommy put me under her desk to keep me in a quiet place. I think it’s funny because it looks like she stashed me under there.

At school today, Alice celebrated her birthday with the kids in her class. She got to wear a crown and Mommy brought cheese and frosted animal crackers for snack.

Alice had fun and wore the crown around the house the rest of the week!

Today Mommy and Daddy went to lunch for a friend at the office’s birthday and got to ride in a Limo. Papa rode the orange Harley. They had a fun time – I’m not sure why we weren’t invited.

Today is my very first picture day at school and I’m wearing the sweater that Aunt Stacey made for me!

Before I went to school though, I did a little bit of housework. Grandma Sue got me this broom and mop set and I love to clean up.

Mommy says she’s glad because she doesn’t like to clean.

I’m a pretty happy baby and Mommy says I’m getting bigger every day. I recently started smiling a lot, which she really enjoys.

Sometimes us kids are not all that happy. Alice sometimes throws fits, but Daddy and Mommy are always saying that’s what a 2-year-old does.

I guess? The nice thing about having an older sister is that we already have lots of books and toys and Mommy and Daddy read to us and play with us a lot. I love my family.

I love pickles. Aunt Stacey and Daddy brought lunch to Mommy today and there were giant pickles. I started with a half of one and when I finished that off, I got the other half. The skin was a little tough, so I mostly ate the insides out. Yummy, yummy in my tummy.

P.S. (From Liam)
Baths: FUN! I got to take a bath tonight and I really liked the warm water!

Mommy and Daddy also noticed that the outfit I was wearing is fitting a little better than it did when I first wore it to the 4th of July party! I do think I look pretty cute in it!

Today after church we stopped by the park. We have done this for two Sundays in a row and it is super fun! I like the slide, swings and sand. Aunt Stacey was with us and she took pictures of me. I’m glad she did because now I have a picture of me in the new jacket that Aunt Jackee got for me.
She and Mommy both wish they came in big girl sizes so they could have one. After the park we went to a super fun noodle house that serves awesome Chinese dumplings. I was more interested in the noodles! I kept saying, “makin noon-als.” I’m not sure who had more fun; me eating them or Mommy, Daddy and Stacey watching me eat them. I’d go back there any time!
