I’M PRETTY UPSET! This is the view of the table in my room this morning:
… and this is the view of the same table tonight:
I’m not sure what kind of trick Mommy is trying to pull, but I’m not happy about not having my pacifier anymore. She assures me that I will get over it, but I’m highly doubtful. I love my Mommy, but I wonder just how much she loves me to take away my precious. (That may sound a little like Gollum, but I’ve had this paci my whole life - what do you expect.)

Paci update. Its been a week and after those first few rough days I am doing much better now and haven’t even asked for it since about two days after Mommy took it away. I have had a bit harder time getting to sleep at nap and bedtime, but even that is getting better. Maybe Mommy does know best!

What a great day! Mommy and Daddy took me out for eggs and pancakes at Village Inn. Every single time a tray would come by, I would say, “egg?” I’m telling you, it took forever for me to get my eggs. I was very happy when they did come and I ate them up fast!
Pancakes were by far the most fun to eat though. I had to ask Mommy a bunch of times to give me more syrup. At first she was just putting a little on the side of my plate to dip, but then she finally go it and poured a bunch on the pancake. I have this special method of eating them that involves sucking the syrup off the center of the pancake by holding the whole thing up to my face. Then I poke the middle of the pancake into my mouth and eat the center out.
I had a lot of fun at breakfast. If syrup on the face is any indication, then you can see I had a lot of fun.
After we got home, we went on a walk. We walked up to Stacey’s house. I picked out a hat to wear, even though it wasn’t too cold.
At Stacey’s house, Gram was there helping her re-organize her loft and closets. She found the cutest little pink skirt thing and I just had to try it on. I also found a kitty cat toy that had a hawaiian necklace of flowers on. Stacey’s house is always fun.
When I got up from my nap, Stacey came over so Mommy and Daddy could go on a date. Every time I hear them talking about a date, it makes me want to eat a date. Stacey had fun shoes on, with sheep on the toes. I like to wear her shoes around whenever she comes over. I was not too glad about her taking my picture though. At first it was ok, then I said, “no,” than I just gave her the finger (not that finger.)
You might notice that I have on a shirt that says, “Somebody in Indianapolis, IN Loves Me.” That would be Uncle Chad and Aunt Jackee. I love you guys and can’t wait for you to visit me in May!

You know when you eat something and you know it is a special treat, but you can’t help but eat it fast, just in case someone comes along and takes it away? You don’t? Oh, it must just be me then. I feel that way almost every time I eat. I think, maybe, just maybe, this is going to be my last meal so I’d better eat as much as I can, as fast as I can. Mommy and Daddy are always telling me to, “slow down,” or “eat that one bite at a time.” but I don’t understand the concept.
The other day, Mommy and Daddy gave me something I’d never had before, boo-bos. What, might you ask, are boo-bos. Well, they come in different shapes and colors, some are red and bumpy, shaped like a heart with little white seeds and a green thing on top. Some are small, round and blue. And the newest kind I’ve had was red and bumpy but softer with a hole in the middle that is perfect to fit them on my fingers to eat! Mommy keeps calling them Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries, but I just call them boo-bos.
I really love these things and would totally eat them for every meal and snack. Even though I do like to shovel them in, I’d share with you!
