Mommy finally found out where all the other mommies are getting the baby sized crocs . They’re not real ones, but they’re really cute. I wasn’t sure what to think of them at first, but I got used to how they felt. Here I am modeling my new shoes and a cute vest Nanny made me last year.

I love Sesame Street and especially Elmo. For my first birthday Mommy and Daddy got me a stuffed Elmo doll. Sometimes I like to dress up Elmo in my hat while I’m watching Sesame Street.
Uh oh, Elmo fell down. I love Elmo!

Mommy, Aunt Stacey and I went to Arizona for Mommy’s work. She had meetings for 3 straight days. Luckily, my cousin Alyssa and Aunt Stacey were there to play with. Gram was around some of the time too and I got to see Mommy at night after work. On our first day there we went to Walmart and Gram bought Alyssa and me these cute outfits. We wore them the very next day.
The outfits have little jackets that match, but we were too hot from running around the apartment and laughing and laughing. For the most part Aunt Stacey told our mommies that we got along fine, but neither one of us loved the idea of sharing. We were having a good time playing with the coasters, but I always wanted the one Alyssa had and vice-versa.
Later, after we were done looking at coasters, I decided I wanted to give Alyssa a Hug. So I climbed around behind her.
Alyssa was not too keen on the idea.
I gave her a hug anyway. (I guess I don’t take the hint too well.)
So, she decided to lean back and let me know that was ENOUGH!
Ouch, she bonked my head a little bit.
Overall, it was a fun day with Alyssa and Aunt Stacey. We were both super tired after a full day of fun!! The next day, while Mommy was in leadership meetings and a board meeting, I hung out with Stacey and Gram. They were shopping, imagine that?!?! I was pooped, so I fell asleep in the car and somehow woke up in a knitting store.
I didn’t mind too much, but I didn’t get too much sleep. See, I still look sleepy. I at least got to play with some needles, and I was dressed appropriately for the outing in my “Would Somebody Please Teach Me To Knit” onesie.
After the shopping, I got another nap later in the day. I usually only take one nap a day, but those shoppers really wore me out! Later that night we went to somebody’s house for dinner. They had a whole room with toys for me and Alyssa to play with. We also made a new friend, Grace. She is almost 4 months younger than me, but we’re about the same size and she has more hair than I do. She was fun to play with too. Here is Papa holding us both.
By the time we got back to Colorado after the trip Mommy and I were both really tired. We slept good in our own beds and were really happy to see Daddy. Next time we go somewhere I definitely want Daddy to come with us too!

Daddy’s cousin was getting married, so I went to the festivities with the whole family. Here I am, in my pretty dress before we went inside.
The ceremony was held in a little chapel at Elfindale, which was really pretty, but totally boring for a little girl like me. I tried my best to be quiet and sit down during the ceremony, but Mommy took me outside right after the Bride came down the isle. I just don’t understand why they can’t have dancing and toys and fun stuff at weddings - if I ever get married, we’re definitely going to have that! Outside was fun though. There was a little garden next to the chapel that I got to play in a little bit. my favorite thing was picking up sticks and dirt. Here’s a picture of me concentrating hard on getting potting soil out of the container and throwing it on the ground. You might also be able to see my little collection of cedar bark on the bench, next to me.
After the ceremony was over, which I thought was forever! Daddy came outside to play with us too. He helped me up the stairs. Then I had to get my diaper changed, so we went back into the chapel. I didn’t want to go, but Daddy picked me up. Mommy said this picture is funny because we’re making the same face in it.
After I got a change, I was a lot happier. Daddy still looks like a goof-ball though.
When we went into the reception, I got to meet some of the 2nd cousins that were closer to my age. I especially liked Cassidy. She was wearing a black dress just like me. We played a lot together.
After the kids had, “had enough” of the reception, we went outside and played on the playground. I got to change back into play clothes, which were a lot more comfortable. I loved playing with Cassidy and Allie.
Cassidy helped me play on the slide and the rocking animals.
Even though all the cousins were almost 3 or 4 years older than me, I still tried to keep up with them. We went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant (my favorite!) after we left the reception and I ran around like crazy with the kids there too. I’m so glad that I got to meet them all. When we got back to Nanny and Grandpa Tom’s house I took a bath and then Mommy had to get pictures of us in our Christmas pajamas since we missed the opportunity on Christmas morning.
I had such a fun trip to Missouri this Christmas. I miss Nanny and Grandpa Tom and Bob and Sugar a lot! I love you guys.

New Years Eve was the last full day that we were in Missouri at Nanny and Grandpa Tom’s. Daddy’s cousin was getting married, so we didn’t have nearly enough time to play outside before we left for Springfield and the wedding. I did get to go on a walk with Nanny though. Something I didn’t realize about being a kid, is that there is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes that Mommy and Daddy and other adults do for me. The day before, when I was playing outside, apparently I got a lot of burrs on my coat and shoes and tights, which Nanny and Daddy picked off for me. So, when it was time to go outside today, I wore one of Nanny’s old sweatshirts as a coat instead. I also wore my big winter boots.
The dogs joined us for our tromp through the woods and I had a lot of fun, AGAIN! Mommy came with us for a little way and took some pictures, of course.
You can see that I’m carrying a plastic knife with me (which I dug out of one of the drawers in the kitchen along with paper cups and plates that I spread around on the floor). After a while I turned to Mommy and said, “Bye, bye,” which she took as a clue to head back inside. Here is a picture of Nanny and I right before we disappeared into the woods.
From there we walked all around the property. It is really pretty and I’m looking forward to seeing it when its all green. Mommy told me something about having to check me for ticks when I’ve been in the woods in the spring and summer, but I’m not sure what she’s talking about. Nanny took over picture taking duties, and here is a shot from the part of the property that has a nice sitting rock and part that is is kind of like a meadow.
After we were done with our walk, I took a nap before getting ready to leave for the wedding.
