BOO at the Zoo!

Boo at the Zoo is a fun day for kids where we get to dress up and get candy and see all the animals too. I’ve always gone to Boo at the Zoo. Last year I was so sleepy, I missed the whole thing. This year, I was a little dazed when we got there and Mommy got my costume on, but as soon as I saw the other kids and animals, I was like, “Woah! This is awesome!” Of course we went to see the elephants first. They are Mommy’s favorite. (Just in case you’re like everyone else at the zoo who called me a chicken all day, Mommy was a scarecrow, I’m a little black crow and Daddy’s a farmer.) Aunt Stacey also came with us to the zoo. She said she didn’t have a costume to wear so she just put together a random outfit and wore a pink wig. I thought it was pretty cool, not to mention all the other little girls that loved her pink hair. As you might have noticed, I have an orange Tootsie Pop in this picture that Aunt Stacey let me have. Eventually I worked my way through the paper and Mommy took it away. What a bummer. Here is Daddy and me looking at the penguins swimming. I wanted to get in a swim with them, but they wouldn’t let me. Oh well, there’s always next year. Here I am with my candy bucket that looks like Elmo from Sesame Street. I had fun running around. I wasn’t so sure about this panda. I’m checking him out in the picture. I think it might have to do with the little boy in line behind me who kept saying to his mommy and daddy, “I don’t want a picture with the monster!” By the end of the day I was super tired. This picture was taken about 2 blocks from the zoo. I was so tired, in fact, that I fell asleep with a cracker in my mouth.
