My Daddy used to work at a place called Silver Dollar City before he met Mommy. He worked at the Tintype Shop and took olde-time pictures of people. So, when we all went to Branson for the Doulos 25 Year Reunion Weekend, we went to Silver Dollar City and got our picture taken at the place Daddy used to work. Mommy convinced Aunt Stacey, Uncle Buddy and Aunt Jackee, Grandma and Papa to join us for the picture. It was fun!!
We took one serious one, because that’s the way people used to take pictures. Aunt Stacey got to wear a pink dress, not sure how she swung that!
Then we took a smiling one. Aunt Stacey is next to Daddy, who looks like a regular Hilbilly. Papa dressed up like the preacher and Uncle Buddy was a mountain man. Grandma and Aunt Jackee look cute too. Can you believe I smiled for the picture, it’s amazing cuz usually I don’t cooperate.
Visiting Branson was really fun - I’ll have to go back when I’m older and can play at Silver Dollar City more.

I went on a road trip to New Mexico with Mommy, Aunt Stacey, Grandma and Papa for Cousin Sherman’s wedding. Daddy had class, so he didn’t come with us. It was fun in the car on the way there. I was eating some snack of Zwyback toast in the car and I kept putting it on my feet. I had toasty toes (that’s a kind of yarn Mommy and Daddy use to knit socks). We also stopped at McDonalds and I ate chicken nuggets for the first time.
When we arrived in Albuquerque we went straight to the rehersal dinner. I met another little girl whose last name was Beach like most of the rest of the people there.
The day of the wedding we went into old downtown and ate lunch at a fun restraunt. Mommy and Grandma and Aunt Stacey got to drink special grown-up drinks. When it was time to leave, Grandma and I had to “lip up” and get ourselves looking decent. I love lipstick.
The wedding was pretty boring, but the reception was fun. I got to dance and met a nice little boy who also loved to dance. Sherman and Courtney look so happy, it’s probably because they are dancing too. I love to dance.

Daddy’s favorite football team is the Kansas City Chiefs. He loves to watch the games. We went to Grandma and Papa’s house for the season opener against the New York Jets. I wore the Chiefs jersey that Uncle Buddy and Aunt Jackee gave me last year for Christmas. I started walking all the time when we came home from vacation, but I’m still not too sure on my feet.
One of my favorite phrases is “Ooohh” and/or “Woah.” I love to talk.
Here I am saying “touchdown.” Unfortunately Daddy’s team lost the game.

My Grandpa Murray loves corned beef, so Mommy invited he and Grandma Sue over for dinner. Grandpa and I bonded while he was at my house.

I love helping around the house with chores. Laundry is my favorite. Daddy has been trying to teach me how to put my dirty clothes in the basket. Unfortunately, the basket for dirty clothes is right by the trash can in Mommy and Daddy’s room and I get confused sometimes. I have been known on occasion to take clothes out of the basket and put them in the trash. Oh well, I’m getting the concept right!
