Blog Babies

I had a birthday party before it was even my “real” birthday. My Nanny and Grandpa Tom came out from Missouri, my Grandma and Papa came over with Aunt Stacey and a bunch of other friends of mine from Church. It was so fun! Aunt Stacey, Nanny and friends Evrett and Tiffany. Mommy and Grandma and Grandma Sue put out a big spread of food for everyone and I enjoyed eating outside like a picnic. After lunch I ate cake for the first time! I had not really had sugar before and it was YUMMY!! Here is a progression of my cake-eating adventures. Wow, look at this cake… Can I really eat it? OK, I’m going for it face first… This is fun!! I really enjoyed the cake… as you can see! One of the best things was sharing my cake with my Papa, he thought it was great too! Mommy says Papa likes the attention as much as I do. After the food and cake I got to open presents. Man, even though Mommy asked the grandparents not to buy me any toys (which, I totally don’t get!) they totally did. I have to say I was glad. There is a picture of my Nanny and me playing with a really neat car she and Grandpa Tom got for me. I was a little overwhelmed by all the attention and the presents, but it was worth it, some of my favorite toys I got for my first birthday. I got a lot of Sesame Street toys and I love Elmo, Zoe, Big Bird, Oscar and Cookie Monster! Mommy says I look real sweet in this picture, concentrating on something new.
