Father’s Day in the Ozarks!

I spent last weekend having fun with my Daddy, Mommy and a whole bunch of Daddy’s family at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. But, before I went down there, we stayed the night at Alyssa’s house in Kansas City. It was very late when we arrived on Thursday night, but the next day I got to play with Alyssa and have lots of fun. My mommy and Alyssa’s mommy dressed us in matching outfits. We looked so cute and we had fun together! I am a little bit shorter than Alyssa, and have a little less hair but we still love each other. We were posing in the chair and making funny faces! Alyssa was trying to help me out of the chair. After we left Kansas City we drove to Windermere at Lake of the Ozarks. It was fun too. Here I am with my cousin Abby. (Yea, she’s the one with all the hair! Mommy said she’s already gotten 2 or 3 haircuts and that doesn’t sound too fun to me. She is just 17 days older than me.) Here I am swimming on my tummy and my back - the water is the best! Here I am playing the piano with my Great-Aunt Lauramae - in fact I was so good, she invited me back the next day to play again with her. All-in-all, it was a great weekend! I spent Father’s Day with my Daddy, which is a little girl’s dream, and I got to see Nanny, Grandpa Tom, Grandma Bandy and a whole bunch of new family that I had never met before. I hope we can go back next year! I was super worn-out by the trip and was glad to get home to my toys, bed and room. Aunt Stacey picked us up from the airport and I was glad to see her too. She had fun at the Estes Park Wool Festival while I was gone and knitted the cute little shrug she was wearing when she picked us up. When I got home she looked at the flowers outside with me and Mommy. Well, I’d better sign off for now, but I’ll be updating again soon!
